I’m using WEP as the security mechanism on my router. Is that ok?

The WEP security standard is an aging security standard and thus NOT compatible with the AirPlay protocol, and you could experience AirPlay connection problems if you use WEP security on your router. Please change the security setting to WPA/WPA2 for full AirPlay compatibility (and as an added bonus WPA/WPA2 enables much stronger security on your router). For instructions on changing the security type on your router, please refer to your routers documentation.
